Silly Smiles
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009We at Karen Anderson Designs are excited to be a part of the second annual Silly Smiles for Sammy fundraiser. Silly Smiles was started in honor of Sammy Rogers, a wonderful 6-year-old boy who was diagnosed with FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis) when he was 2 years old. This autoimmune disorder, along with Nephrotic Syndrome, causes damage to the filtering components of the kidneys. These disorders affecting the kidneys can have a staggering impact on the lives of those caught in their wake.
Here is how the fundraiser works… for a $40 donation to Silly Smiles, we will take individual pictures of you (and your family) making funny faces. With this, we will make a montage of 9 images on an 8×10 print. Kids (and adults alike) love these sessions as they are a lot of fun. 100% of this initial donation goes straight to Silly Smiles. For more information about Silly Smiles, go to http://www.sillysmiles.org.
We will be promoting this as well as taking appointments. at the February Gallery Hop, this coming Friday, February 6th. The Fundraiser will take place Friday, March 6 (during the Gallery Hop), and also on Saturday, March 7th. Call now to reserve your time on either of these days.
